TSA has a problem The main issue with airports is the slow checkpoint even with the 2 million dollar CT scan upgrades. In this article, two issues are being discussed, the TSA line length and the unnecessary use of CT scanning machines. The initial process of TSA begins when you buy your ticket and your personal information is checked against records to see if you are safe to fly. When you arrive at the airport, there are multiple surveillance cameras for added security and trained dogs to sniff out explosives or unusual items. When entering the TSA checkpoint for bags, the officers there match your ID to your face and any characteristics, and on top of this there are scanners to detect foreign objects or metals.
